Financial Provision
Cheryl and I went through some financial tests during the earlier part of this year (2009). I became convinced that God want to bless us and provide to our everyday need. The Holy Spirit started to minister to me about the power of confessing God’s word over our situation and how to breakthrough into the supernatural realm.
With a holy aggression we started to confess the word of God regarding finances over our lives. In a matter of weeks we started to see results. A pastor friend of mine who I have not been in contact with for years phoned me to ask me for bank details to deposit money into my account. Someone offered Cheryl money for petrol every month although we told her it was not necessary. The mechanic working on our car refused to receive any payment for work done and people who we met for the first time decided to take up and offering for us.
God has been supplying money to us the last few months that we now can sow unto other people and ministries. The Lord is our Shepperd, we shall not want.
Healing Testimony July 2009
Our family (Jansen- Family) went to visit some friends in Port Elizabeth during the July holidays. On our second day I experienced some earache. Most of the time the pain was severe but there was times that it was not so intense. The second night while laying in bed I began to rebuke the pain and command it to go away in Jesus name.
Cheryl heard me praying so she gentle laid hands on my ear and started to pray for my healing. While she was praying, the pain instantly dissapeared. After an hour I felt the pain coming back again but I reminded it that I was healed and it went away. It is now more than three weeks ago and it is still gone. Praise Jesus. He is still the Healer.
Healing Testimony
Early December 1989 I woke up with a tremendous pain in my stomack area. It was so severe that I though that I was going to die. A few days earlier I have just finished reading Kenneth Hagin’s book on “Healing Belongs to Us”. I knew the Lord loved me and I knew He had the power to heal me. So I prayed and asked the Lord to heal me, but nothing happened. I prayed again and asked the Lord to heal me and I waited for the pain to dissapeared, but nothing happened.
I was dissapointed that the Lord did not heal me so I prayed again and asked the Lord to heal me. Again nothing happened. Than I remembered that the Bible says that “when we pray, we need to believe that we have received, and then we shall have it” (Mark 11: 24). I realised that I was doing it the wrong way and was waiting for the pain to leave before I could believe that God has healed me.
So I forced myself out of the bed and I layed hands on my back and my stomack and said; “Lord Your word says that if I lay hands on the sick they will recover. I am just going to do what your words says. So I am laying hands on My self right now and I command this body to be healed. I command this pain to go in Jesus name!” After I prayed for healing I started to praise the Lord that He has healed me, but the pain was still there. I just ignored the pain and continued to praised God.
I said to myself; “A healed person is not awake this time of the night, I am going to sleep now.” The pain was still there. Than I forced myself to stand up straight and walked to my bed. The pain was still there. The moment I placed my head on the pillow the pain left and never returned. This was the first supernatural miracle I have ever experienced.
